Ask friends and relatives to sponsor your reading by making a single donation right away or pledging to donate a small amount of money for each minute you read during the 2-week event.
READ!
From Wednesday, January 8th through Wednesday, January 22, record every minute you read each day in your Reading Log (even young children can participate by having someone read to them!). Completed Reading Logs should be brought to your school (if you are a student) or the Library by 5pm on Friday, January 24th. Donations and pledges from your supporters should be turned in to your school or the Library by Friday, January 31st (instructions, reading logs and donation envelopes will be provided by the Library).
Make it fun!
Have contests between family members, within your neighborhood, or in your book club as to who can read the most!
JOIN US!
• Monday, January 20th (MLK, Jr. Holiday) - Read-In & Day of Service at the Library (book drive for other libraries and schools in need, and other fun service activities)
• Sunday, January 26th- Read-a-thon prize winners will be announced at the Winter Festival Pancake Breakfast at in the New Hope-Solebury High School Cafeteria. At 9:30 a.m. prizes will be awarded for the most minutes read in each age category (all ages are welcome to participate!).

10:00 - 11:00 TUCKER TALES PUPPET THEATRE
St. John's Church Auditorium. Aesop is one of the greatest storytellers of the ancient world. 11:00 - 11:45 BALLET TIME
St. John's Church Auditorium. The trainee students of the Mill Ballet and select dancers from the Roxey Ballet will perform "winter" inspired pieces and work with children in the audience to choreograph a "winter" dance. For more information go to www.millballetschool.com and www.roxeyballet.org.

Theatre Arts Center is pleased to have the members of the Kidz , Junior and Senior Performance Companies perform a Broadway Medley for you today. 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP PARKS & RECREATION
CHILDREN'S ACTIVITY CENTER

Located in the gyms at the New Hope-Solebury High School (coincides with the Pancake Breakfast.)
The event is free, open to children ages 2-12, and will include an unusual obstacle
course, organized games, arts and crafts, sports event challenges and more.
Classroom 310 will host our Arts and Crafts Programs and face painting. The middle school gym will have our soccer and dodge-ball sports events. The high school gym will have the obstacle course, basketball, and other events. A special appearance by Buzz Light Year is planned!

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m   SNOW FOLK ART EXHIBITION
New Hope-Solebury High School
View colorfully decorated Snow Folk characters created by talented artists of all ages. Winners will be announced at the Pancake Breakfast.

Directions to St. John's Auditorium

To get to the school, follow directions to St. John the Evangelist Church.  The entrance is at 44 Bridge St.  Once you enter the church parking lot, you can see the back entrance of the school at the far right corner of the lot.
